In this issue of Reliability Edge, we are pleased to present an article on the cost benefits of software reliability prediction that was submitted by Ann Marie Neufelder of SoftRel (page 20) and an article on managing an effective FMEA process by Carl Carlson of ReliaSoft (page 1). Both of these subject matter experts will be giving presentations at the upcoming 2005 International Applied Reliability Symposium. As described on page 19, this event will be held at the Catamaran Resort on Mission Bay in San Diego on May 18 - 20, 2005.

If you have not already registered for the Symposium, I would encourage you to visit the Web site at http://www.ARSymposium.org and review the program matrix. There will be 22 presentations and 4 tutorials on a variety of topics. All presentations focus on using reliability and related techniques in real world applications. The Symposium also provides a terrific opportunity to interact with fellow professionals in the field. We hope to see you there!
